Reservation Policies

A minimum two night stay required.  Please see Holiday Reservations below for exceptions.

  • A 50% deposit is required to confirm your reservation. Please e-mail us for details on making your reservation deposit. Once the deposit is received you will receive a confirmation e-mail.
  • For Holiday Reservations a 100% deposit is required.
  • Paying the deposit confirms that you have read and agree to Uolis Nah’s policies.
  • The balance of your hotel reservation is due upon arrival.  At this time, Uolis Nah accepts cash payments only in Mexico.  Most businesses in the Mayan Riviera accept only cash, so please bring ample cash or travelers checks.  There are ATMs in the Tulum Pueblo which charge a minimal transaction fee and have a daily withdrawal limit (currently between $3000 - 5000 pesos; approximately $300 - 500 USD).

Deposit Payment Options

  • PayPal – a 5% surcharge applies
  • Direct Deposit – a Mexican HSBC Bank account number will be provided and the sender is responsible for transfer fees

Holiday Reservations

  • Holiday reservations include U.S. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and Easter and require 100% payment

Cancellation Policy
Clients are encouraged to purchase travel insurance to protect their vacation investment.

  • In the event that you have to cancel your reservation you have two choices:
  • You can choose to have a credit for up to one year of time
    • You forfeit equivalent 20% of the deposit or min $25 usd if the cancellation is made 30 or more days before the reservation
    • You forfeit 50 % of the deposit if the cancellation is made 16-29 days before the reservation
    • You forfeit 100% of the deposit if the cancellation is made within 15 days of the reservation
  • There will be no refunds or credits issued for Holiday Reservations, which include U.S. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and Easter.
  • There are no refunds or credits issued for early checkouts.
  • We do not issue refunds for flight cancellations, due to any circumstances.

There are no refunds issued due to bad weather or hurricanes; including any inconvenience or complication caused by a hurricane's direct hit, near miss, or significant threat of a hurricane strike. Hurricanes are by nature unpredictable and an act of God.

Additional Information

  • Check-in is at 3pm. Check Out is at 11am. We can store your luggage should you arrive/depart outside these hours.
  • Reception is open until 8pm. Please notify us if you are scheduled to arrive after 8pm.

Travel Insurance is highly recommended!
All clients are strongly urged to take out adequate insurance coverage to protect themselves against cancellation due to illness, flight cancellations, etc. In the event of a traveler becoming ill during a vacation, or having to cut their vacation short, all hospital and medical expenses are the traveler’s responsibility and said traveler(s) shall not be entitled to any refund either total or partial. La Zebra and its employees shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays or loss of enjoyment, of any nature or kind whatsoever resulting from events beyond our or a supplier's reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, flight cancellations or changes, strikes, labor disputes, lockouts, threats or acts of terrorism, acts of war or declared war, hurricanes or weather conditions.
Uolis Nah is not liable for any damages caused mentally or physically as a result of, or in connection with:
1) Any delays
2) Monetary crises, social unrest, political, labor problems, economic changes, electrical outages due to weather, mechanical maintenance or construction difficulties, climatic in or out of the home aberration, diseases, novel or unexpected conditions, local laws.
3) Absence of travel documents, visas, passports, health certificates where required. La Zebra Corp is not responsible for advisement of travel and entry requirements.
4) Loss of items that are not secured in the hotel safe.
5) Customer's medical or health problems and disabilities or any injuries
6) Acts of God (hurricanes, mudslides, earthquakes).
